Cardi B, 29, and Offset, 30, revealed the name of their 7-month-old baby on Thursday. They welcomed him on September 4th.
For the first time, the “I Like It” rapper posted photographs of her baby boy and announced his name with emojis.
“,” she captioned a photo of Wave wearing a blue fur coat and a colossal diamond chain.
Wave was also introduced to the world by Offset, who shared a sweet photo of the baby smiling at someone off-camera while wearing a slew of blinged-out necklaces.
Offset captioned the shot, “WAVE SET CEPHUS,” revealing the 7-month-name. old’s
Cardi said on Twitter after the big reveal that Offset was the one who came up with the baby’s name. “I was sold when Set mentioned Wave! HIS NAME HAD TO BE THAT! “She posted a video of a piece of jewellery that spelled out his name on Twitter.
Cardi originally announced the arrival of her son with a romantic Instagram photo on Sept. 6.
The “WAP” singer announced the news alongside a photo of herself in her hospital bed, clutching her baby boy and sitting close to Offset. Cardi and Offset are shown tenderly looking down on their son while the new mom sits beneath a Louis Vuitton blanket.
Cardi captioned the family snapshot, “9/4/21.”
The couple wrote in a statement to PEOPLE, “We are so delighted to finally meet our son.” “His family and friends already adore him, and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”
Cardi and Offset have a 3-year-old daughter named Kulture. From prior partnerships, Offset has a daughter Kalea, seven, and sons Kody, seven, and Jordan, twelve.
The Migos rapper uploaded a snapshot of himself resting on a cot and holding his youngest son in the hospital shortly after welcoming baby Wave.
The “Up” singer first confirmed her pregnancy news at the BET Awards in June, when she performed with Offset and Migos.
Cardi joined the group for “Type S—-” after the trio concluded “Straightenin.” Cardi’s expanding belly was shown onstage in an embroidered Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit with a sheer section in the tummy.
Cardi posted an Instagram snap revealing the joyful news, which went live at the same time as the performance, “#2!” In September 2017, she married Offset.
