Jennifer Grey, who starred in Dirty Dancing, has spoken out about the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial.
Depp sued Heard for $50 million in defamation after she implied in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that he assaulted her.
Despite not naming him, the Pirates of the Caribbean star alleges that Heard’s allegations have harmed his ability to work.
In her new memoir, Out of the Corner, Grey, who was briefly engaged to Depp in the late 1980s, reflects on their time together.
She said Depp proposed to her after only two weeks of their whirlwind affair in 1989. Grey, on the other hand, maintains that while they were together, he began “getting into problems,” having “fights in bars and clashes with cops.”
