A sex tape of rapper Isaiah Rashad was leaked online earlier this year. The Top Dawg Entertainment rapper addressed the issue for the first time during his performance at Coachella on Saturday night, which was his first public appearance since the leak in February.
His performance began with a pre-recorded montage of people speculating on his sexuality and discussing the leak. One of the clips stated, “The goal of doing that was to shame him.” “However, that had the opposite effect. His dreams and everything went up when his video surfaced.” Later in the show, Rashad addressed his audience directly: “I’m seeing all of the messages and all of the good vibes. “Y’all have kept me alive for the past few months.”
TDE president Terrence “Punch” Henderson responded to a joke regarding Rashad’s sexuality on Twitter a few weeks ago: “Wait… you want me to be concerned about the sex life of another grown man?” Is that really what you want to do? Rather than having a conversation about music??”
